Lettered on the banner of the angel, in the upper left corner: "VIVIT NVMINE ET NOMINE" and in the lower left corner, on the parapet underneath the portrait of Spranger: "QVID ANTE DIEM VVLTIS ? TE TEMPVS VETAT OCCIDERE. TE ARTES VOLAT CLARÆ CLARIOREM". Lettered above the portrait of Christina Müller, "MORS IN IQVA QVID TANTVM DECVS RAPIS. PIETAS ÆQVA, QVÆ ET MORTVAM SERVAS"; in the frame around the portrait of Christina, "CHRISTINA MVLLERINA VXOR B. SPRANGER" and below the oval, "ANIMVS MARIT / ANIMAM TVAM / ... / RECOLLIGIT.". In lower margin: "Priuatas lacrymas Bart Sprangeri Egid. Sadeler miratus artem et amantem reclamans, publicas fecit; et eidem pro mutua benevolentia dedicauit. Pragae Anno Seculari.".

Print cut and pasted in the seventh (ZZ.22.23) of the eight Angelica's volumes known as "Miscellanee di stampe" (ZZ.22.17-24). Engraver, date and print statement based on Hollstein, XXI-XXII. Technique is based on Rijksmuseum website. On the verso, upper right corner of the sheet: "166" in ink black. A small portion of print has been lost in both of lower corners.
