Print used as illustrations to "GROLLÆ OBSIDIO CVM ANNEXIS Anni CIↃ IↃC XXVII", written by Hugo Grotius (1583-1645) and published in 1629 by Blaeu in Amsterdam; Theodor Niels was an engineer that worked for Frederick Henry, Prince of Orange (1584-1647) who in 1627 conquered Groenlo; data over date and place of publishing are based on the title page; Print binded in the book and folded; cutted vertically and pasted very well; page number 20 written in pencil on the verso of the print.
