First state from 1599. Probably also attributed to Petrus van der Borcht by Hollstein, because included in the 31 plates to Bochius's Historica Narratio he mentions under the engraver's name; attribution not withheld in The New Hollstein, where only 18 prints of the artist are mentioned; nor on the Rijksmuseum's website (access 5-10-18), where the print is attributed to Anonymous, Southern Netherlands. Copy of the print coloured by hand in the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam. Evidence of woodworm, left hand-side of print.
